July 2-4, 2010

  We are looking forward to a great weekend at Block. All moorings that are authorized throughout New England are described in the DIYC 2010 Handout. We have an extra mooring allocated to us from friends that can accommodate a smaller boat in the 30 foot range. Please let us know so we can make arrangements for that mooring.

JULY 3, 2010

BEACH CONCERT AT THE TOWN BEACH

Music by the world renowned Booze Beggars Band Starting at dusk ending at 9 PM. Bring your own Chairs and food/refreshments.

JULY 4, 2010

Fourth of July Parade (rain or shine) 1130 AM

Steak Fry at the B.I. Fire Dept.

Cost $20. / Person.

Menu- steak, corn on the cob, potato and drink.

On Friday, July 2 nd, there will be a cocktail party on Kittyhawk from 5:00 until 6:30 BYOB and bring an appetizer to share.

Those of you who have been to Block know it is a great destination to relax and kick back. There is shopping, walking, biking and of course a relaxing day at the beach. For the lobster lovers we suggest contacting the "Jeannie Marie" and put your order in for fresh caught. (You will have to cook them onboard.)

Those of you who are planning to come please send us an email (bjdm01@comcast.net) so we can possibly assist with moorings if we get a large response.
