This board is primarily for the use of Duck Island Yacht club members to place Looking For Crew or Want To Crew notices for either race or cruise.  To place items on the Crew Board please send an email with your requirements and experience as appropriate to Dick Saunders at rhsaund@yahoo.com

You can also try using a new website www.steadycrew.com which is a crew matching website that has been used in California for a while and just recently opened to the rest of the country on March 15, 2006.  In order for it to work skippers, crew and people wanting to crew must all participate.   Click here  for the introductory letter that was sent to the club.

Want To Crew

Looking to crew on a boat this spring.  I previously race onboard Wolverine with Dave Nauber.  My racing history also includes sailing on the Chesapeake Bay on "Knot Bobs" a Pearson 30 that won bay wide High Point and many long distance races including the overall trophy in the Governors Cup.  I have been out of racing for a few years and want to get back into it.  I currently own a Catalina 30 that is not a racer.  Rob Goodwin  email: rob@goodwinmarketing.com

I am interested in crewing on the Wed night series at DI.  I have raced on Snow Bird , Persistence and captained a former members vessel.  Also an Off Soundings winner- couple of years ago.  Extensive experience and will always be there.
