2014 Charleston Race week

Congratulations to Duck Island Yacht Club’s Giddy Up, skippered by Kevin Gillman and crew Tiffany Skinner, Tim Keyworth, Kevin Wakelee, and Jay Mills travelled to warm and sunny SC for  Charleston Race Week held April 10th-13th, 2014.  The team placed 1st in the Melges 24 Corinthian Division and placed 5th overall.

2014 Soverel 33 Nationals

Congratulations to Mark McCarthy and the Slainte Crew who took  First Place in the Soverel 33 Class at the Cedar Point One Design Regatta on May31-June 1, 2014  Results

 

2014 Spring Off Soundings

 Overalls: Wolverine (C-2 w 15% PE) and Dragonfly (H-3 w 5% PE) placed 1st, Mentor (NS-3 w 35% PE) took a 2nd, Black Hawk (C-2) a 3rd, and Nunnehi (H-3 w 5% PE) took a 4th. Congratulation to all the crews.

2014 Frers 33 North American Championship

Congratulations to Dave & Kathy Nauber and the crew of Wolverine for capturing the North American Championship trophy July 12-13, 2014 over two days with starts at Branford YC and Pine Orchard YC in  Branford, CT.

 

 

Fall Off Soundings

 Overalls: Snowbird (C-1 w 10% PE), Scorpion (H-2 w 5% PE), Nunnehi (H-3 w 5% PE). and Mentor (NS-2 w 30% PE) placed 3rd. Congratulation to all the crews.
